Cavelier Flops Full House, Calls Three Streets to Double Up to 2.4 Million

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

In a three-bet pot with about 140,000 in the middle, the board ran out {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Matteo Cavelier checked over to the button who continued for 80,000. Cavelier called.

The turn brought the {a-Clubs}, also putting a flush on the board. After considering for about a minute, the button once again fired, this time for 180,000. Cavelier took a minute before putting in the call.

The river brought the {3-Spades} and the button then overbet jam into the pot of roughly 660,000. Cavelier snap-called and showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for the flopped full house.

The button did not want to show but was forced to considering it was an all in situation. He meekly showed {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for king high.

Cavelier told PokerNews that he began the hand with about 1,200,000. His opponent was left with just 225,000 in his stack.
