Kunze Makes Incredible Call

Tom Kunze opened to 240,000 from under the gun and faced a three-bet to 720,000 by Victor Li in late position. Action folded back around to Kunze who made the call to send the two players heads-up to the flop.
Both players checked through the 
flop to see the 
turn where Kunze led out for 625,000. Li responded by raising to 1,400,000 but Kunze, unconvinced, called.
Kunze checked on the 
river and Li fired off 2,550,000, enough to force Kunze all in. The German went deep into the tank but eventually tossed in calling chips and turned over 
. His read had been spot on as the small pair was enough to score the full double.
