Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

A player in late position opened to 800 and Matt Sabia, from middle position, three-bet to 3,000. The cutoff, big blind, and late-position players all called.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Sabia continued for 2,300. The cutoff called and the other two players got out of the way.

On the {9-Hearts} turn, Sabia fired again for 4,000 with just 25,000 chips behind. The cutoff, who had 30,000 behind, deliberated for about a minute before folding.

Hagenlocher Hits Cooler for Knockout

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Action was picked up with 21,800 already in the pot and a board of {5-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} on the table.

Patrick Hagenlocher led out for 21,000 from late position. This sent his opponent, the cutoff, into the tank for several minutes. He emerged by slamming his remaining chips into the middle, moving all in for 53,800. After a minute or so, Hagenlocher made the call with his opponent covered.

Opponent: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Patrick Hagenlocher: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Hagenlocher was in rough shape, but when the {a-Clubs} river hit the table, he had the nut straight. "Fuck me!" exclaimed his opponent, "How can you call that?" he asked, in disbelief. Hagenlocher scooped the big pot to add to his stack, which is among the biggest in the room.

Danley Takes it Down on the Turn

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Daniel Wilson raised to 1,000 from under the gun and Martik Hoonanian made the call from the cutoff. Daniel Wilson put in the three-bet to 5,000 from the small blind. Danley called, Honnanian got out of the way.

Heads up, the flop came out {6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. Wilson continued for 3,000, Danley made the call.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds}, pairing the top card and completing the flush draw. Wilson checked, Danley made a bet of 10,000.

Wilson made the frustrated fold and Danley took down the pot.

Saven Cracks Aces to Double

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Adam Saven found himself all in for his last 28,000 before the flop and had picked up {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}. His opponent, though, showed him {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Saven was at serious risk of seeing his tournament come to an early end.

The {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop gave him top set and new hope as he dodged the last two aces in the deck on the {7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} turn and river to double up.

"What a game," he said as he took out his camera to snap a picture of the board before sitting back down.

Veksler Loses Chips as Lothian River Nuts

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

With roughly 5,000 in the pot on a {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop, Pavlo Veksler bet 1,600 in the small blind, the big blind folded, and Robert Lothian called in early position.

The {7-Diamonds} fell on the turn, Veksler bet 5,300, and Lothian called. The {5-Diamonds} landed on the river to put four diamonds and four cards to a straight on the board. Veksler checked and Lothian bet 10,000. Veksler shuffled chips and contemplated before ultimately calling.

Lothian tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for the nut flush, while Veksler looked at the board and checked his cards again before moving them into the muck.
