Five-Bet Jam Rewards Woolen

A player in the cutoff raised to 1,100, the hijack called and James Woolen on the button three-bet to 3,100. The player in the big blind came in for a cold four-bet to 12,400 getting both the cutoff and hijack out of the way. Woolen left to act, he five-bet all in for 16,000. For only 4,000 chips more, the big blind called.

On a flop of 8♦9♦4♠ it was checked to the button who went all in for 6,800. The small blind Rod Poirier called the bet and late position player Artem Metalidi reraised all of his chips for 14,500. Poirier went into the think tank and called.

Koller Catches Out Lindsay

Katie Lindsay opened from the hijack with 1,100, Ran Koller called from the cutoff, and both players went to a flop of 9♣10♠4♣. Lindsay continued for 1,500 and Koller followed suit.

On the 2♠ turn Lindsay fired an additional 5,000 and Koller elected to see the river.

The 4♦ landed and Lindsay emptied the clip betting 15,000. Koller made the call and Lindsay tabled 5♣2♣ which was picked off by the J♦10♦ of Koller.

The flop came 3♥3♠10♣ and the big blind check-raised Girs' bet to 3,000. The big blind moved all in for the remaining 5,000 in his stack on a 2♣. Girs folded, and the button called.

The big blind revealed J♣9♣ but Dan McClure dropped 10♠10♦ for a flopped full house. The big blind was drawing dead, the J♥ river was irrelevant, and he was sent to the exit.

The flop was 6♠J♦Q♦ and when the turn came the Q♥, the late position player bet 3,000 into the 6,000 pot. A middle position player, Ben Keeline, called.

The river brought the 8♦ and Keeline took the lead with a bet of 2,000. The late position player called quickly and mucked just as quickly as Keeline turned over Q♠5♠.
