Frank Funaro raised to 320,000 from the hijack and in the big blind, Michael Jozoff defended.

The flop came out 9Q4 and Jozoff check called a bet of 200,000 from Funaro.

Jozoff checked once more on the 3 turn that saw Funaro bet once more, this time to the tune of 700,000 and once more Jozoff called.

On the 10 river, Jozoff checked a third time over to Funaro who moved all in for 2,240,000 which covered Jozoff. Jozoff took off his sunglasses as he put in a time extension and pondered his decision. After some thought he put his chips in the middle and the cards were turned on their backs.

Michael Jozoff: QJ
Frank Funaro: AA

Jozoff's pair of queens was no good against the pair of aces in Funaro's hand and Jozoff became the first casualty of the final table.
