Bonomo Eliminates Lin in Biggest Pot of the Tournament
Justin Bonomo opened to 28,000 under the gun and Ren Lin, seated right next to Bonomo, three-bet to 75,000. Everyone else folded and Bonomo called leaving action heads-up going into the flop.
Bonomo checked on the 4♠9♦5♠ flop and called a 65,000 bet from Lin.
Both players checked the 6♦ turn.
"One time river" Lin said as the river came the 4♦. Bonomo went all in, covering Lin who had approximately 800,000 behind in a massive overbet for nearly five times what was in the pot. Lin did not take long before making the call to put himself at risk.

Lin's overpair could not overcome Bonomo's full house and he was eliminated just before the end of Day 1, while Bonomo scooped the biggest pot of the tournament to become the chip leader going into Day 2.
