After losing a flip to Anthony Potis a few hands before, Qiwen Chen was on a short stack and moved all in for 2,700,000 from the cutoff. Both Ta-wei Tou and J.J. Liu made the call in the blinds and the trio saw a flop of Q♣J♦6♦.
Tou and Liu both checked their options on each street as the board ran out 3♠6♠ and the hands were shown. Chen tabled 8♣7♠ for eight-high, while Liu had 10♠5♣ for ten-high. Tou took the pot when he opened 9♣3♦ for a pair of threes and Chen was eliminated in sixth place.

The there was a 7 in the window but the full board ran out 7♣8♥J♣5♠2♥ giving Potis the full double and his rail went crazy.
The very next hand Qiwen Chen jammed under the gun having Potis slightly covered. He made the call and again we see a full board with the cards on their back.

The runout came J♥8♣K♣2♦3♦ and once again his rail went wild as he scored the double and sky rocketed into a top three stack on the final table.

J.J. Liu opened to 3,000,000 from early position and it folded to Jesse Rosen in the big blind who moved all in for 11,800,000 total. Liu asked for a count, but after some thought, made the call with a bigger stack.

It was a fair fight preflop, but when the board ran out A♣J♦J♥2♦6♣, it was the flopped ace that stayed in the lead to send Rosen out in seventh place.

Action folded to Vito Branciforte on the button who went all in. Ta-Wei Tou was in the small blind and put in enough 500,000 chips to constitute a raise. The big blind folded and they were off to a full board for Branciforte's tournament life.
