Picking action up on fifth street, Lindsey McDougal bet and a short-stacked Shawn Buchanan decided to call into the big bet streets.

The players checked sixth street, but on seventh, McDougal bet again, and after some thought, Buchanan called.

McDougal showed a king-high straight, while Buchanan showed aces up which soon after went into the muck.

Shawn Buchanan committed his last chips from the big blind on the turn with a board of 10♦7♥8♠Q♠ versus Paresh Doshi on the button, who had raised preflop and then raised the turn after the duo checked the flop.

Doshi was ahead with his pair of queens, but Buchanan had the better flush draw and a low draw, which hit on the river with the 6♣ to chop the pot and keep Buchanan alive.

Hellmuth Getting Short on the Bubble

Jon Turner raised from under the gun as action folded around to Phil Hellmuth in the big blind, who called to the 9♣8♥4♣ flop.

Hellmuth checked dark and Turner came out with a bet. Hellmuth called and both players checked the K♦ turn.

Hellmuth again checked the 10♥ and Turner fired out a bet. Hellmuth ripped off his headphones and leaned over the table as he began muttering to himself before mucking A♥Q♥. Turner flashed 10♣10♠ for the rivered set as he took the pot.

Willse Survives on Bubble

Tyler Willse was all in on third street versus Chad Campbell and the final cards were dealt without revealing the down cards, while action at other tables continued.

During the wait, the very friendly table led by Mike Thorpe got a chant of "Tyler, Tyler, Tyler" going, rooting on their all-in tablemate.

Once action at other tables was completed, Campbell asked Willse how he wanted him to reveal his hole cards, one by one, or "rip it."

"Just rip it," replied Willse, and Campbell tried to reveal his cards with a wild swing of his arm, accidentally tossing two of the cards onto the floor instead, which drew laughs from the rest of the table.

Once the cards were picked up, Campbell's two pair of fives and threes couldn't top Willse's kings and queens, and the lengthy bubble continued on.

Schmidt Bursts the Bubble

Erik Schmidt was down to a single yellow 1,000 chip and put it in the middle with a 8x showing. Walter Treccarichi and Aloisio Dourado called.

Both players checked to fifth, where Treccarichi bet and Dourado folded.

Treccarichi finished with KxAx7x4x6x7x2x, catching the deuce on seventh to make 7-6-4-2-A. Schmidt had 5x3x8x3x8x2x and caught an Ax on his last card, but it wasn't enough to avoid becoming the bubble boy.

"I called for the ace of spades and got it. He caught the perfect card," Schmidt lamented as he made his way to the rail.
