Level 36
: Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Sridhar Sangannagari checked from the big blind on a flop of 5♠A♥8♣. Zachary Vankeuren on his immediate left, raised to 2,800,000 and recevied a call.
The turn was the 8♥ and Sangannagari bet 3,500,000. Vankeuren called.
The river came the 5♥ and Sangannagari declared all in. Vankeuren went into the tank for a minute or so, riffling chips and counting his stack. At one point he said. "I was trapping you" — with emphasis on the "was".
Vankeuren eventually found a call and tabled A♣Q♦ for two pair. Sangannagari turned over A♦8♠ for a turned full house and knocked Vankeuren out of the tournament.
