Middle Position was ahead preflop with a big pair, but Hatch had plenty of boards that could favor him. This ended up being the case when the flop fell, 10♣6♣8x, flopping Hatch a set. The turn brought a 9x, which had the early position player rooting for a jack to make a straight and the middle position player needed an ace to pull ahead.
The river paired the board with the 10♦ and Hatch was awarded the pot.
