Aces Hold for Hawkins
Level 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
With 35,500 in the middle the flop read J♠9♠9♥ and Maurice Hawkins was seen with all of his 39,900 going in the middle against one opponent and both hands were already tabled.
Maurice Hawkins: A♠A♦K♣4♣
Opponent: 8♠8♥7♦2♣
Hawkins overpair was ahead and the 3♦ turn, and the J♥ river meant he could stay in his seat as he dragged a double up.
