Ngai Survives the Bubble
Level 15
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Wai Ngai was seen all-in on the J♦8♠2♠ flop with a pot of about 50,000 on the bubble. The play was paused, waiting for the floor to come to the table and watch the runout. Eventually, the floor came and told both players to table their hands.
Wai Ngai: A♠K♠Q♥J♣
Opponent: Q♦10♥8♦6♣
Ngai flopped top pair, with a straight and flush draw, and the 9♠ turn meant he was not leaving the table as the K♦ completed the board.
