Ferro's Kicker Earns the Pot
Level 18
: 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
With 35,000 in the middle on the turn, the board read Q♠10♦2♣A♠ and Jose Ferro check-called a bet of 16,000 from Benjamin Voreland.
The 2♠ hit the river and Ferro checked before Voreland thought about his options and knuckled back.
Ferro tabled A♥9♦8♦5♣ for a pair of aces with a nine kicker. Voreland chuckled as his pair of aces was out-pipped by two, tabling A♦7♥6♥6♠.
