Ohel Scoops Three-Way Pot
Level 11
: Blinds 500/1,000, 0 ante
Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better
Shirin Oskooi opened from the cutoff and was called by Randy Ohel in the small blind before Allan Le three-bet out of the big blind. Both Oskooi and Vanderpoorten called to keep action three-way heading to the flop.
Ohel checked on the 3♦3♠9♣ flop, prompting Le to continue his earlier aggression with a bet. That did not convince either of his opponents to get out of the way as both Oskooi and Ohel called.
Action checked through the Q♠ turn to the 10♦ river, at which point Ohel bet out. He was met by a quick fold from Le but Oskooi tossed in calling chips. Ohel showed down A♠3♥2♣5♣ for flopped trips, sufficiently strong to take down a large pot.
