Ausmus Ousted in Four-Way Action

Level 13
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Seven Card Stud

Freddy Deeb: XxXx / 73QQ / Xx
Jeremy Ausmus: 54 / 7925 / K
Phil Ivey: JJ / K4AA / 2
Paul Volpe: XxXx / J7K9 / Xx

Paul Volpe was all-in as of fourth street with a short stack and three players remained in action. Phil Ivey was the aggressor when he bet fifth and sixth street, by which Jeremy Ausmus was also all-in as well. Freddy Deeb called the full bets of Ivey to open up a second side pot before the two active players then checked down seventh street.

Deeb flashed the 1063 for queens and treys while Ausmus flashed K54 for a pair of fives and missed flush draw. Ivey had the JJ2 for aces and jacks to beat Deeb for the larger side pot and knock out Ausmus.

Volpe then revealed his Q109 as he had gotten there with a king-high straight to survive.
