Mole Digs Deep to Find a Double
Level 10
: Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Upeshka De Silva opened to 3,500 in the cutoff and was called by Joseph Mole on the button and the big blind. The flop came A♦J♣3♥ and De Silva continued with a bet of 4,300. Mole called and the big blind got out of the way.
The turn brought the 10♣ and De Silva checked this time. Mole put together a bet of 14,300 and De Silva jammed all in. Mole thought for over a minute before calling off his stack of around 65,000.
Joseph Mole: J♦10♦
Upeshka De Silva: A♥J♥
Both players made two pair but De Silva's was the dominating one. However, the 10♠ peeled off on the river and Mole improved to a full house to earn a double up.
