Chen Shoves on the Big Stack
Level 20
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Pete Chen and Yang Zhang were heads-up in a three-bet pot where they each committed 75,000 apiece preflop. The flop came 7♥5♥3♣ and Chen check-called a bet of 63,000 from Zhang.
The turn was the 8♥ which slowed the action as both players checked to the 8♠ on the river. Chen overbet the pot by shoving all in for 474,000 on the river. Zhang asked for a count and gave it some thought but decided to send his cards to the muck.
