Maudlin Makes a Move

Chris Bean

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The under-the-gun player bet 600 and was called by early position, middle position, hijack, David Maudlin in the small blind, and the big blind.

All six players checked the A♣9♠5♦ flop, but Maudlin bet 1,700 on the 3♣ turn which was only called by the under-the-gun player.

The 6♣ completed the board and Maudlin bet 3,200. This was too much for the under-the-gun player, who folded and Maudlin dragged in the pot.
