Burns Picks Up a Bounty
Level 3
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
All the chips went into the middle on the flop of 8♠6♥2♠, with the early position player at risk for 6,800. Mike Burns in the big blind covered their opponent.
Early Position: A♥K♥
Mike Burns: 10♠9♠
Early position was ahead with ace-high but Burns had a flush draw and a gutshot. The A♠ on the turn left early position drawing dead with the Q♦ completing the board. Burns took in the pot and, more importantly, a $500 bounty.
