: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Action was picked up just before the turn with the board reading 5♠3♥6♦ and Phil Laak all in and at risk against Youness Barakat
Phil Laak: A♣Q♠Q♦4♣
Youness Barakat: K♥K♣9♠8♥
Laak's overpair and gutshot straight draw were in bad shape against Barakat's higher overpair and gutshot straight draw. The 8♠ turn and J♣ river offered Laak no improvement, resulting in his elimination from the tournament.
Laak and Barakat shook hands as Laak was leaving the table in a show of respect between the two players.
