Peng Shan raised the pot on the button with the 8♣7♠6♥5♠ and Stanislav Halatenko came along out of the big blind with the K♦8♠6♠3♦. The A♠Q♦2♥ flop missed both players and Halatenko checked, Shan bet and Halatenko folded.
The Ukrainian then opened to 900,000 with the A♠Q♣J♠9♥ and collected the blinds as well as the big blind ante.
