Roughly one hour after finishing fifth in Event #45: $1,500 Mixed Omaha, Shaun Deeb opened to 3,000 from under the gun and received calls from players in the hijack and big blind.
The flop came 10♦5♠4♥. The big blind checked, Deeb checked and the hijack bet 5,000. The big blind folded and Deeb made the call.
Both players checked the 6♠ turn leading to the 7♥ river. Deeb bet 7,500 and his opponent quickly mucked, resulting in Deeb collecting a decent pot.

Just 352 of the record-setting field of 685 entries remain in Day 1 of the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship.
The players need to survive just one more level before play ends.
Anyone with chips in front of them, will bag and tag their stacks for Day 2, which begins at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 22.
Late registration is open until the second day gets underway.
There was 34,500 in the middle on the K♦5♦5♠A♣3♣ board. The small blind checked to Jaspal Brar in the big blind, who bet 13,000. His opponent then made it 32,000, which left him with around 40,000 behind.
Brar went into some deep thought before flicking in a calling chip.
The small blind smiled as he tabled his K♣7♠4♥3♦, which was good for kings and fives. Brar had Q♦Q♣7♦5♥ for trip fives and took in the pot.

Sean Winter opened to 5,500 from under the gun and received a call from the hijack. A player in the small blind three-bet to 24,000 leaving a single 1,000 chip behind. The hijack folded, Winter moved all in with a covering stack and the small blind called to put himself at risk.
Small Blind: A♠10♦8♣7♠
Sean Winter: K♦K♠Q♠7♣
The flop came 9♠7♥2♣ giving the small blind a number of outs versus Winter's Kings. Those outs failed to materialize on the 2♦ turn and 5♠ river and Winter scooped a chunky pot for the elimination.
Winter is now sitting on one of the bigger stacks of the evening, approaching 250,000.

Three players remained in the pot looking at a full board that read 10♠10♦2♦3♦8♠ with the pot standing at approximately 54,000.
Jay Harwood in the big blind and the player under the gun checked the action over to Johann Ibanezin the hijack.
Ibanez didn't fear taking on two opponents for a sizeable 35,000. Harwood made a quick fold and the remaining opponent followed suit.

The under-the-gun player opened to 4,500 before Johann Ibanez made it 16,500 from middle position. Ryan Hughes called from the button, and the original raiser also came along.
Action checked to Hughes on the 10♣5♠2♠ flop and he fired out for 30,000. The under-the-gun player folded, but Ibanez potted it to 144,500. Hughes then jammed as the bigger stack, and Ibanez quickly called for his tournament life to set up one of the biggest pots of the day.
Johann Ibanez: A♥A♠J♦8♠
Ryan Hughes: 10♠9♥8♣5♦
Hughes was ahead with his top two, but Ibanez had the flush draw to go along with his additional outs.
The 7♥ turn also gave Ibanez a straight draw.
The river would decide the fate of both players, with Ibanez either out or one of the big stacks. If Hughes could hold, he'd be the clear chip leader.
The 6♠ river resulted in a loud "Vamoooooos!" from Ibanez who binked the flush to seal the checkmark.
Hughes had been one of the bigger stacks all day but saw his hard work evaporate late on in Day 1.

Bobby Oboodi limped under the gun, as did both the cutoff and the small blind. Erik Seidel checked his option in the big blind and four players went to a flop.
On Q♠J♥9♠ the action checked to the cutoff who bet out for 4,500. Only Oboodi called.
The turned 2♣ checked through to the A♥ on the river.
Oboodi took the lead for 15,000 forcing his opponent to fold A♠10♠8♣Xx face up.

Jay Harwood opened to 4,500 first to act before the player on his left three-bet to 16,500. Sam Soverel then made it 50,000 from the button which folded out Harwood, but the remaining player would commit his last 5,500 for cards to go on their backs.
Opponent: A♦7♦7♠5♦
Sam Soverel: A♠A♥4♣2♣
Soverel was ahead with aces, and they remained ahead on the 10♣9♠3♥ flop. The 4♥9♦ runout provided no surprises, and Soverel received a late-night stack boost.
