Maio Vanquishes Kabrhel

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Action was picked up preflop. Martin Kabrhel had already placed a bet of 18,000 from middle position, leaving only 3,000 behind. Anthony Maio had made a pot-sized raise, sending Kabrhel deep into the tank despite having already committed 85% of his stack.

After a significant amount of time and table talk, Kabrhel finally made the call to put himself at risk.

Martin Kabrhel: QQ32
Anthony Maio: KK65

The board ran out 103J109, Maio's Kings held and Kabrhel was sent to the rail.

Harwood Makes Two Pair

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Jay Harwood opened to 11,000 under the gun, and both Tim Van Loo and Jaspal Brar came along in the blinds.

The dealer fanned a flop of J95 and both Van Loo and Brar checked to Harwood who continued for 19,000. Van Loo called quickly, while Brar took about 20 seconds before doing the same.

The 6 turn and 7 river were checked down and Harwood tabled QJ75 for two pair, which was good to drag the pot.
