The Halatenko Show Continues on the Outer Table

Arthur Morris limped in from the cutoff and Ka Kwan Lau did so from the button. Stanislav Halatenko raised it up to 245,000 and Morris folded while Lau called.

On a flop of J♣7♥3♥, Halatenko opted to check and then call a bet worth 320,000 by Lau. That led them to the 4♥ turn on which Halatenko checked once more. Lau fired a second larger bet of 650,000 and Halatenko came along.

Both then checked down the 9♥ on the river and the 10♣7♣6♠4♠ of Halatenko for two pair dragged in yet another large pot.

Dimitar Danchev opened from middle position to 150,000, finding two callers; Stanislav Halatenko in the hijack and Arthur Morris in the big blind.

The flop came 6♥10♠K♠ and all three players checked the hand to the 6♣ on the turn.

Once checked to, Danchev took the lead with a bet of 175,000. Halatenko retaliated with a raise to 450,000 and both remaining players folded.

Both players checked the 7♥6♥6♦ flop before the Q♣ turn brought a bet of 250,000 from Pearson. Lin made the call.

The river was a 3♦, and both players checked. Pearson showed 8♥8♠, but Lin turned over K♣K♦J♠2♠ for a better two pair to take down the pot.

The trio checked down the board of J♠6♥6♦K♠2♠ and Morris announced two pair, exposing the Q♥J♦9♠2♥. That was good enough to win the pot as his two opponents mucked.

Garza Catches Halatenko on a Move

Ap Garza raised to 160,000 and earned calls from Arthur Morris and Stanislav Halatenko, the latter of which was in the small blind. The trio checked through the A♦4♠3♥ flop and Halatenko then bet the 3♠ turn for 275,000, Garza was the only caller.

Halatenko also bet the 2♦ river for 475,000 and Garza instantly tossed in a single chip for the call. No showdown followed as Halatenko sent his cards into the muck. Garza then won the next hand as well in a single-raised pot when he took it down on the flop.

Stanislav Halatenko raised to 200,000 and Arthur Morris defended the big blind. On a flop of K♠Q♠8♥, Morris checked and called 175,000 when Halatenko continued.

That led them to the 8♠ turn on which Morris checked once more, then subsequently called a second barrel by Halatenko for 600,000. The 6♥ river was checked by both and Morris' A♠9♠9♥2♥ for the ace-high flush won the pot.

Halatenko raised to 200,000 shortly after for Oswin Ziegelbecker to reraise the pot, for 720,000 total. A call after brief hesitation by Halatenko followed, who then checked the K♠6♥3♠ flop. Ziegelbecker bet the pot and Halatenko snap-folded.

The flop came 6♣4♠10♠ and all three players checked. Action was checked to Weisman on the J♥ turn, and he bet for 160,000 with only Shan calling.

The river came 4♣, and Weisman led out for 150,000. Shan tossed in a call. "King-jack," said Weisman, showing K♦J♠XxXx. Shan turned over A♥J♣7♣3♣ and won with his ace kicker.
