Iermolcheva Raises Then Gives Up
Level 5
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
In the cutoff, Adam Beyrer opened to 1,000 and was called only by Olga Iermolcheva in the big blind.
On the flop A♠3♦10♠, Beyrer thought the best option was to bet 2,000. However, Iermolcheva didn't want to let her chips go so easily, so she check-raised to 5,100. Beyrer called.
The K♦ came on the turn, and both players checked. The same action occurred when the second king K♥ appeared on the river. Then, Beyrer showed A♦7♠ for a pair of aces. It was the best hand as Iermolcheva folded.
