Katz Doubles Through Arieh

Jeremy Geist
Jeremy Geist
Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Josh Arieh opened the action from the cutoff to 75,000. It folded to Cary Katz in the big blind who called. The 3♠5♦Q♠ flop landed and Katz snap jammed for his remaining 155,000. Arieh quickly called.

Cary Katz: A♣10♦8♥5♥
Josh Arieh: A♦Q♦7♦3♥

Both players had two pair, but Katz was in the lead. The 2♥ turn was a brick, and the 8♦ river gave Katz the full double up.
