Cavanagh Rivers a Straight to Eliminate Liu

There was a flurry of preflop raises between three players that saw JJ Liu all in for her last 38,000 chips. There was a side pot between John Cavanagh and Jameson Painter still up for grabs.

The action checked through the A♦7♠6♦ flop as well as the 3♣ on the turn. The 8♥ completed the board and Cavanagh threw in a bet. Painter called and Cavanagh tabled 5♣4♣ for a straight to win the side pot.

JJ Liu tabled A♠9♥ for just one pair and Cavanagh took the main pot as well, sending Liu to the payout desk.
