Chopping The Hard Way

Joe McKeehen has back pedaled some since returning from dinner but that hasn't slowed him down in the action.

McKeehen raised in early position and was called by James Chen in the small blind, as well as Michael Kuo in the big blind. Three ways, they saw a flop of 5♣6♣6♥. Both blinds checked and McKeehen bet, getting called by both opponents.

The turn brought the J♥ and both blinds checked to McKeehen, who wasted no time in firing another bet. This time Chen folded and only Kuo called.

The river was the 8♣ and both players checked. Kuo tabled A♣3♠ and McKeehen then turned over the A♦7♥ for the chop, as both players were playing the same ace high.
