A few hands after David Arsht doubled his stack on her, JJ Liu limped in the small blind and called the big blind's raise.

But on the flop 265, she check-raised. Not impressed, the big blind called. But when she bet again on the turn J, her opponent folded.

"JJ Liu Takes It Down Again", said a player at the table, laughing, after the hand. Thanks to this pot, JJ Liu increased her stack to 80,000 chips.

After scooping a 4-way pot with aces, Ryutaro Suzuki, the 2023 $3,000 Mixed Games WSOP champion, opened from under the gun. Michael Moncek, another 2023 WSOP champion, called in the cutoff, and the big blind joined them in this hand.

On the flop 285, the Japanese player continued betting but was raised by Moncek. The big blind folded, and Suzuki called.

As the turn card 4 was revealed, Elie Elezra said he saw a queen as the burn card. So the dealer revealed the burned card, which happened to be a red king. Anyway, Moncek bet again, and Ryutaro Suzuki check-called.

On the river 5, Moncek bet once more. Suzuki stopped for a second and called but discovered 53 in Moncek's hand. Smiling because he lost an out with the flashed card, Suzuki showed the K.
