Both players took one card with Gannon then leading out for 13,000. That bet was met by a fairly swift fold from his opponent to send a small pot Gannon's way as he makes a positive start to Day 2.

While this was happening, Philip Sternheimer, resplendent in a purple velour track suit, explained his thought process on a previous hand. "I could be doing anything there. You don't know. The only thing you know is, I'm not making a hero fold with a nine perfect."
