A player in the cutoff opened to 1,400, then was raised to 5,000 by Jon Pardy in the small blind. The cutoff called and checked back on the flop 4♣3♥7♦.
The 5♥ came on the turn, and Pardy bet 4,500. The cutoff didn't back down and called to see the river 10♣, where Pardy moved all in for 13,200 chips.
Just a few seconds to analyze the board were enough for the cutoff to call. "You got me," said Pardy immediately, laughing and mucking his cards. As he was all-in, the dealer revealed his cards, K♠Q♣. But it was the losing hand, as his opponent had A♥3♥ for a bottom pair.
