Weldon Wins Early
Level 18
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Action folded to a player in the cutoff who opened to 22,000. The button and small blind folded but Anthony Weldon called out of the big blind.
The Q♥10♣10♠ flop hit the felt and Weldon check-called a 28,000 bet from the cutoff. The 7♠ landed on the turn and action slowed down and checked through. The 3♠ river landed and Weldon opted to lead for 29,000.
The cutoff only thought for a moment before putting in the call. Weldon rolled over A♣Q♣ for top pair, top kicker and the cutoff tapped the table and mucked.
