Ebanks With Top Pair
Level 22
: 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
A player opened from middle position to 50,000, and all the other players folded to Joe Ebanks, who completed from the big blind.
On the flop, 8♠9♣4♦, the two players decided to check. Then the turn 2♠ came. Ebanks took the lead, betting 90,000. His opponent called, and both players arrived at the river 6♥.
Ebanks added 75,000 to the pot, and the player in middle position called. But he could only tap the table to congratulate and muck his cards, because Ebanks showed 10♥9♦ for a top pair.
