Campbell Busts Emerson; Filippi Out
Level 20
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Robert Campbell raised to 34,000 on the button and was called by Kyle Emerson in the big blind.
Emerson bet pot on the 3♥10♥2♦ flop, leaving himself just several thousand behind, and Campbell raised enough to put Emerson all in. Emerson called off for his remaining stack and hands were revealed.
Kyle Emerson: 7♣5♦3♠2♠
Robert Campbell: A♣A♥Q♣4♦
The 10♦ turn gave Campbell a superior two pair and the 9♠ river bricked out for Emerson — eliminating him from contention.
At another table, Amnon Filippi was also eliminated.
