Lee Next To Fall
Level 20
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Anton Morgenstern open-raised from under the gun and Chris Lee three-bet all in for 880,000 from the hijack. Morgenstern made the call, covering Lee by a small margin.
Chris Lee: A♥A♦J♦4♠
Anton Morgenstern: K♥K♦8♥8♦
Lee had the best hand, but Morgenstern would flop a flush on 5♥7♥3♥. No backdoor full house possibility for Lee on the 2♦ turn, and the Q♦ river was dealt only as a formality.
