Jonas Kronwitter stole the blinds with a raise from under the gun and then lost the profit when James Park raised the pot in the cutoff for 750,000 in the last hand of the previous level. Kronwitter defended the big blind and they checked it down on the K♠2♥2♠2♣J♠ board.
Kronwitter announced a flush but Park's A♠K♦Q♠8♥ represented the nut flush.
Tyler Smith then raised to 700,000 on the button in the new level and called the all-in of Anthony Marsico for just 1,375,000 in the big blind.
