Big Double for Ivey
Level 27
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
After some back-and-forth, Phil Ivey and big stack Vitalijs Zavorotnijs got it all in preflop, with the poker HoFer at risk of elimination.
Phil Ivey: A♠7♦
Vitalijs Zavorotnijs: A♣Q♠
Ivey would need some help to stay alive, but the board ran out 6♠9♦7♥8♦3♠ to give Ivey the win with his pair of sevens. He is now sitting with over 3,500,000 and is one of the largest stacks in the field.
