Miholich Eliminates Arieh

Level 7
Kyle Miholich
Kyle Miholich

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a hand relayed to PokerNews by Kyle Miholich, a player raised from early position and Josh Arieh called on the button, as did Miholich from the big blind.

Action checked around to Arieh on the 102J flop and he put out a bet of 3,000, which was called by Miholich. The original raiser folded.

Now heads-up with Arieh, Miholich checked the 7 turn and Arieh continued putting on the pressure with a bet of 11,000, which Miholich once again called.

The river J paired the board and Miholich checked a third time to Arieh, this time with Arieh announcing, "pot," and Miholich snap-calling.

Josh Arieh: XxXxXxXx
Kyle Miholich: A4Q5

Miholich flopped an ace-high flush and as soon as he called, Arieh commented, "You're good," and fired his hand into the muck.

However, after the stacks were counted down, Arieh had exactly a pot-sized bet of 36,600 left and was eliminated from the tournament.

Andy Black
Andy Black

Big O

After raising 1,200 from the button preflop, and getting calls from both blinds, Andy Black bet 1,500 on a flop of 4J4 and got two folds. "Another one for Sir Andrew!" said Black.

Steve Zolotow, having recently joined the table continued, "I don't know if you know this, but the queen knighted Andy..."

"Sir Andrew!" interrupted Black.

"She knighted Sir Andrew as her final act as queen."

"With her last f*cking breath!" shouted Sir Andrew.

Elimination for Bronshtein

Level 6
Yuval Bronshtein
Yuval Bronshtein

Pot-Limit Omaha

A player in early position raised to 1,500 and was called by Yuval Bronshtein on the button and a player in the big blind.

The player in the big blind led out for 4,000 on the 437 flop, getting a fold from the original raiser, but a pot-sized raise from Bronshtein, which was enough to put his opponent all-in.

Big Blind Player: 7543
Yuval Bronshtein: A1073

The player in the big blind had pipped Bronshtein's two pair with a slightly better two pair, but Bronshtein had a flush draw to go along with his, which would complete on the Q turn.

Bronshtein's opponent did have a redraw to a full house, but it did not complete on the 6 river, sending him to the rail.
