Dyer Plays it Sneaky

Level 12

No-Limit 5-Card Draw High

Brian Hastings raised to 6,000 from the cutoff and small blind Majid Yahyaei and big blind Greg Dyer came along.

Yahyaei drew two, Dyer three, and Hastings one. Yahyaei and Dyer checked to Hastings who made it 6,000 to go. Yahyaei folded, but Dyer put in the check-raise to 21,000, enough to put Hastings all in.

Hastings gave it due consideration, looking back and forth between Dyer's bet and his own stack, but decided to wait for another hand to make his move.
