Toma Earns Three Quarters Against Shak
Level 15
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Three ways to the J♣4♦2♥ flop, the action checked to Tsugunari Toma and he bet. Dan Shak raised the pot to force out a third player in the hand and Toma then jammed for 141,000, earning a call from Shak with the covering stack.
Tsugunari Toma: A♣J♥7♠3♥
Dan Shak: A♠10♣10♦3♠
"Yeah, I was afraid of that," Shak declared with cards on their backs. He earned just one quarter of the pot following the J♠ turn and 7♦ river runout but avoided getting scooped entirely.
