Blanton Sends Milheim the Rail as he Runs Hot

Mitchell Milheim just sat down at table 106 and players were quick to tell him not to get into any hands against Thomas Blanton. Blanton raised to 500,000 from the cutoff. Milheim defended from the small blind as both players headed to the flop.

The flop came Q♠6♠K♣, and Milheim checked to Blanton. He fired for 450,000 and Milheim jammed all in for about 4,000,000. Blanton took no time making the call as both players revealed their hands.

The board ran out Q♦6♦ for Blanton to eliminate Milheim.

Shawn Daniels moved all in for 2,300,000 from the button and was called by Rogerio Rabelo in the small blind.

There was not much help on the 10♣10♠2♦ flop, nor 6♥ turn, but Daniels spoke up before the dealer felted the river and said "It is 2,300,000" to Rabelo expecting to get the card he needed to double up. Unbelievably, it worked! The A♣ on the river gave Daniels top pair to take the pot.

Action was caught after the flop came 3♠5♦7♦, and Hui Wang checked from the big blind. Thomas Blanton fired for 625,000, and received a call from Wang.

The turn was the 9♣, and Wang again checked to Blanton. He continued for 1,725,000, and again received a call from Wang.

While the 4♣ peeled off on the river, Wang led out for 2,200,000. Blanton took his time before he made the call. Wang showed 7♣6♦ for the straight to win the pot. Blanton told Wang that he had 8x8x, and was winning through most streets.
