Doshi Survives with Bigger Hand, Better Draws

Paresh Doshi bet his remaining stack on a flop of 9♥Q♦3♣ and was quickly called by Lawrence Brandt.

Doshi's hand was much more connected and flopped top pair with a straight draw. Brandt had a worse straight draw and a backdoor flush draw. The 10♦ turned both players a straight, but Doshi had the nut end and the K♠ on the river upgraded him to Broadway.

The turn was a 10♣ and both players checked.

A 7♠ on the river received the same treatment, and when Spitzberberg tabled Q♣10♥9♠3♠, Reyelts tossed his cards in the muck.

Dudley Doubles, Leaves Erbland on Fumes

Pierre Erbland raised to 14,000 from middle position and faced a three-bet to 50,000 from Dash Dudley in late position. Erbland decided to call leading to a 10♦9♠4♠ flop.

Erbland checked to Dudley, who announced "pot" amounting to a bet size of 120,000. Erbland paused briefly before going all in and Dudley called off for slightly less to send both players to a runout.

Davidson Slays Two Goliaths

Quan Tran started with a pot-sized raise, Nicholas Davidson called and Brian Kelley repotted for his remaining stack. Tran also declared "pot" and it didn't take long before Davidson shrugged his shoulders and got his chips in the middle.

The dealer spun the wheel and presented the 4♣6♦3♣, flopping the nut straight for Tran.

The turn was the 10♣, surprisingly not changing much, but the 8♠ on the river upgraded Davidson to the bigger straight and he took Kelley's bounty who was clearly deflated after having his aces cracked
