Doshi Survives with Bigger Hand, Better Draws

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Paresh Doshi bet his remaining stack on a flop of 9Q3 and was quickly called by Lawrence Brandt.

Paresh Doshi: AKQJ
Lawrence Brandt: J834

Doshi's hand was much more connected and flopped top pair with a straight draw. Brandt had a worse straight draw and a backdoor flush draw. The 10 turned both players a straight, but Doshi had the nut end and the K on the river upgraded him to Broadway.

Spitzberg Wins a Small One

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Two players saw a flop of 10JJ. Paul Spitzberg checked from under the gun and Gerald Reyelts bet 12,000. Spitzberg called.

Dudley Doubles, Leaves Erbland on Fumes

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Pierre Erbland raised to 14,000 from middle position and faced a three-bet to 50,000 from Dash Dudley in late position. Erbland decided to call leading to a 1094 flop.

Erbland checked to Dudley, who announced "pot" amounting to a bet size of 120,000. Erbland paused briefly before going all in and Dudley called off for slightly less to send both players to a runout.

Dash Dudley: AAQ4]
Pierre Erbland: JJ75

The board ran out with the K and 3 leaving Erbland unimproved and sending Dudley a full double-up as Erbland was left with one blind remaining.

Davidson Slays Two Goliaths

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Quan Tran started with a pot-sized raise, Nicholas Davidson called and Brian Kelley repotted for his remaining stack. Tran also declared "pot" and it didn't take long before Davidson shrugged his shoulders and got his chips in the middle.

Brian Kelley: AA22
Nicholas Davidson: 10976
Quan Tran: KK75

The dealer spun the wheel and presented the 463, flopping the nut straight for Tran.

The turn was the 10, surprisingly not changing much, but the 8 on the river upgraded Davidson to the bigger straight and he took Kelley's bounty who was clearly deflated after having his aces cracked

Spitzberg Continues to Climb

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A flop of K9J was seen by five players. Action was checked to Billy Welch, who bet 10,000 from under the gun. Paul Spitzberg in the small blind, was the lone caller.

The turn came 10. Spitzberg checked and Welch threw out another 10,000, which was matched by Spitzberg.

A 2 on the river was checked in both spots. Welch showed KKQ10 but it was no good against Spitzberg's flush with Q1086
