Born and raised in Metro Atlanta, GA, Chris Land is a PokerNews Live Reporter currently based in the North Georgia mountain town of Cumming, GA. He briefly attended Gainseville State University where he was first introduced to No Limit Hold 'Em in 2003. Poker became his passion, and he has played a lot of online volume in the 20 years since.

2023 is the first year Chris will be on the Live Reporting team for PokerNews having taken a leave of absence from the financial services industry.

Aside from poker, Chris enjoys strategy games and time with his family in nature.
