Manzano Turns a Straight to Chip Up

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Diogo Veiga raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and got called by Alex Manzano in the big blind leading to a 10JK flop.

Manzano checked to Veiga, who continued with a bet of 40,000. Manzano called and the dealer put the 9 out on the turn.

Action checked through to the 6 river.

Manzano paused briefly before deciding to lead for the first time of the hand for a bet of 26,000. The small sizing got a call from Veiga. Manzano turned up the QJ102 for the low end of a straight.

Veiga checked his cards and mucked, saying he had two pair as the dealer sent the chips in Manzano's direction.

Daniel Negreanu raised from early position to 40,000 and faced a pot-sized three-bet of 144,000 from Antonio Gonzalez. Negreanu called to see the J53 flop.

Negreanu checked over to Gonzalez who continued with a bet of 175,000. Negreanu checked his cards and thought briefly before grabbing half a million in 25,000 chips and moving them forward while saying "pot."

Gonzalez entered a short tank and after about 60 seconds of thought, released his cards into the muck.

Negreanu responded by saying, "You were pretty dead" as he put his vlog camera away, collected the pot and continued to chip up.
