Schwartz Comes Out on Top in Huge Pre-Flop All In

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action folded to Noah Schwartz on the button who raised to 55,000 only to see Alexander Stewart three-bet from the big blind to 175,000.

Schwartz entered the tank and counted out his chips as he thought through his action. After a couple of minutes, he jokingly said to the dealer, "It's a bounty tournament, right?" before deciding to slide his chips forward for a four-bet all in worth around 340,000.

Stewart quickly called to put Schwartz at risk and headed to a runout.

Noah Schwartz: JJ1010
Alexander Stewart: AK77

Schwartz was ahead going to the flop and when it came down 4JK, he found himself in an ever bigger lead over Stewart.

The 2 turn meant that Stewart was drawing dead going to the inconsequential Q river as Schwartz secured a full double to move up in the counts.

Ryan Coon
Ryan Coon

The hijack raised preflop and Ryan Coon three-bet to around 280,000. William Abercrombie went all in for a little over 300,000 which folded out the hijack but left a straightforward call for Coon, who covered comfortably.

William Abercrombie: KKJJ
Ryan Coon: AA109

The board ran out 862Q3, changing nothing and ending Abercrombie's tournament.

Coon is now the chip leader.

Negreanu Sent to the Exit in Massive Three-Way All In

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu raised to 50,000 from early position and Giuseppe Maggisano called to his direct left before Antonio Gonzalez three-bet jammed from the cutoff.

Action folded back to Negreanu who didn't waste time in announcing pot, amounting to a four-bet worth 575,000. Maggisano was quick in his action as well as he decided to announce a pot-sized five-bet to commit the rest of Negreanu's chips.

Negreanu immediately grabbed his vlog camera and said, "Oops" as he made the call to create a massive three-handed runout with both Gonzalez and Negreanu at risk.

Antonio Gonzalez: AKQ2
Daniel Negreanu: 8764
Giuseppe Maggisano: AKQ10

Negreanu had assumed that Maggisano had flatted with aces so was very pleased to see how live he was even though his hearts were dead.

The dealer knocked the table and put out a 939 flop which was no good for Negreanu's hand.

The 9 turn meant that Negreanu was drawing dead and Gonzalez would need to avoid spades on the river to chop but when the 4 completed the board, both Gonzalez and Negreanu were sent to the rail on the same hand as Maggisano won a massive pot that moved him toward the top of the counts.

Jeff Madsen
Jeff Madsen

Rodrigo Semeghini raised to 60,000 under the gun. Action folded to Jeff Madsen in the big blind, who called.

Madsen checked a flop of 6J8 and Semeghini continued for 90,000.

Madsen thought for a few moments before raising to 400,000 — which was enough to claim the pot

Brandt Can't Get Away from It

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

On a board reading AJ6, Lawrence Brandt felt he was too short to not get his chip in the middle against Yusuke Tanaka.

Lawrence Brandt: A965
Yusuke Tanaka: AKKJ

Brandt had flopped top and bottom pair but Tanaka had top two. The turn improved Tanaka even more when the K gave him a set, causing Brandt to have no river he could win on and the useless Q rolled off the deck.

Arredondo Doubles Through Coon

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ricardo Arredondo raised to 75,000 and Ryan Coon called from the cutoff to see a 56Q flop.

Arredondo announced pot for a bet of 230,000. Coon asked how much Arredondo had behind and paused for a moment before raising enough to put Arredondo all in.

Arredondo quickly called to put himself at risk and headed to a runout.

Ricardo Arredondo: AAJ2
Ryan Coon: KK73

The board ran out with a 8 turn and 5 river, securing a full double for Arredondo as the three-table redraw neared.
