Polk checked the 7♥9♠K♦ flop and called when Khun continued for 55,000. Both players then checked the 10♠ turn.

Polk took the lead on the Q♣ river, betting 180,000 to take down another pot as Khun folded.

Doug Polk opened to 60,000 on the button with Q♠10♦ and Chanracy Khun defended from the big blind with J♠8♣. The flop fell 8♠3♠3♥ and Khun checked to Polk who continued with a bet of 40,000. Khun check-raised to 140,000 and Polk just called.

The turn was the K♦ and Khun checked again. Polk fired out a bet of 265,000 and Khun stuck around for the 10♣ on the river. Khun checked for the third time and Polk put together a bet of 620,000.

Khun gave it some thought and but opted to lay his hand down as Polk took over the lead for the first time in the match.

Polk checked the J♦3♦4♠ flop and Khun continued for 40,000. Polk then announced a check-raise to 140,000, with Khun taking a moment before making the call.

Both players checked the 9♥ turn and again on the 6♠ river. Khun mucked his hand as Polk showed bottom pair to scoop another pot.

Khun checked to Polk, who continued for 35,000. Khun called to the J♦ turn, with the action repeating after a bet of 170,000 from Polk.

Khun checked once more on the 4♥ river, then took some time before folding after Polk fired 345,000 into the middle.

Polk then led out for 200,000 and Khun called immediately. Polk showed his trip jacks, recovering some chips rather quickly.

Polk led out for 265,000, with Khun calling to the 4♥ turn. Both players then checked to the A♥ river.

Polk checked again and took some time when Khun fired 600,000. Polk made the call, seeing the bad news as Khun turned over top pair to take the early lead.
