Holley Calls His Card
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Action was joined on a board of 9♥8♥3♠ and after significant action John Holley and his opponent were all in.
The cards hit their backs.
John Holley: 4♥5♦6♣7♦
Opponent: 10♥9♣8♣7♠
John turned a wrap when the 2♦ hit the turn. "Give him a six!" his opponent said as it would have given him the nuts and Holley a lower straight. "Lets see an ace" Holley replied back and right at that moment the dealer burned and turned the A♣ on the driver giving Holley the wheel and earning him the pure double.
