Kysar Puts James to the Test

Jason James called in the small blind before Thomas Kysar raised to 1,300,000.

James then three-bet to 2,900,000 and Kysar called to the J♣K♥7♥ flop. James led out for 1,300,000, finding a call from Kysar to the 5♦ turn.

James checked to Kysar, who announced all in. James took a moment before mucking his hand, as Kysar collected a sizeable pot.

Diego Ventura limped in from the small blind and Jason James checked the option.

Ventura checked over to James on the 10♥9♥J♠ flop and James bet out 400,000, with Ventura making the call.

The 5♥ fell on the turn, completing the front-door flush draw and prompting a check from both players.

A four card stragiht was completed on the Q♠ river, and Ventura led out for 1,200,000, which was met with a raise from James to 3,000,000. This sent Ventura into the tank.

After some deliberation, Ventura made the fold and with James taking that pot, the chip stacks have come a bit closer to flattening out.

Diego Ventura raised to 600,000 from the button and Thomas Kysar called from the big blind.

Both players checked the 9♦6♥10♥ flop and Kysar put out a bet of 1,000,000 on the 3♠ turn.

Ventura made the call and the two players saw the 6♠ fall on the river.

Kysar bet 1,700,000 and after some deliberation, Ventura put in a raise to 5,000,000, with Kysar making the quick call.

Ventura tabled Q♦6♦ for trip sixes and Kysar mucked.
