Borland Flips With Zamani For Big Double
Level 24
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
James Borland moved all in from early position for 695,000 and Martin Zamani put in an isolation raise to 2,000,000, with the rest of the table getting out of the way.
James Borland: A♠Q♦
Martin Zamani: 8♥8♦
Borland wouldn't have to wait long to take the lead on the A♣J♥J♦ flop, leaving Zamani needing an eight and an eight only to clock the elimination, but the final runout of A♣J♥J♦9♦6♥ wouldn't help Zamani and gave Borland the full double.
