Three Streets of Value for Lee

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With about 23,000 in the pot and the board reading AK9, a player checked from early position and Jimmy Lee bet 7,000, receiving a call from his opponent.

Lee fired again when checked to on the 10 turn, this time for 16,000.

The river was the 3. The early position player checked and Lee fired a third bet for 30,000. After briefly considering his options his opponent made the call.

Lee showed down K9 for a flopped two pair to scoop the pot.

David Peters bet 8,000 from under the gun and was called by early position, Sridhar Sangannagari in the cutoff and the big blind.

Action was checked round to Sangannagari after the monotone flop of A102 and he bet 21,000. This gained quick folds from the big blind and Peters, while the early position player took a little bit longer to throw his cards into the muck.

The early position player asked "Did you have it?" Sangannagari wryly responded "It was a very good flop" as he added chips to his stack.

Correia Nabs Juanda's Bounty

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

In a hand relayed to PokerNews by Francisco Correia, Correia raised to 8,000 from middle position and John Juanda moved all-in for 42,000 from late position, with Correia making the call.

John Juanda: 8x8x
Francisco Correia: A5

Correia caught a diamond on the Q6x10x flop, but would still need an ace or running cards to catch up and score the knockout.

The K on the turn would get Correia halfway there, and the 3 on the river completed the flush to eliminate Juanda and collect the $2,015 bounty.
